Chicago Summer Mission
Chicago is one of the most exciting cities in the world! Located in the heart of this great city our project will seek to both reach out to the 300,000 + university students while also placing great emphasis on developing student leaders. Students that engage in this project can expect to develop practical ministry skills and the tools necessary to be a strategic leader both in Chicago and back on their campus.
Chicago Summer Project is a premier project with Cru. It's both big city and beach project combined! There are days where ministry happens on a college campus just like it would on your campus. The dream with that is to fully train and equip students to be leaders on their respective campuses at summer's conclusion. Chicago has beaches too, and many days will be spent on those beaches talking to college students from all over the world visiting the city. The housing in Chicago is remarkable, considered some of the best housing for a project in the country. It's located in the South Loop, near Grant Park & the Willis Tower. It's safe, fun, and a perfect place to spend your summer.
Chicago is home to many of the largest business and corporations in the world. If an internship is needed, Chicago has so much to offer. Work your internship during the day, and do project on nights and weekends which will give an incredible summer experience you won't forget.
This project has incredible housing located in the South Loop/Columbia College neighborhood. You'll get the experience of living downtown Chicago during the summer, the best months to be there!

Please note: This project is open to students from schools on the quarter system as well as students from semester schools. Semester students are expected to arrive on June 1st. Quarter students are expected to arrive right after their last final is completed and stay until the project end date of August 10th.
