Greece: Patras (Grace Bible)

This mission is for students that currently are part of the ministry at Grace Bible Church.

Greece is more than just the gorgeous islands and ancient ruins. While the Greek people carry deep pride in their country’s far-reaching history, they also cherish their values for family, friends and food (these usually collide at the same table!).

Athens is the largest city in the country and boasts 2 of the most prominent universities. It is bustling with more than 6 million people - half the population of the entire country. With archeological evidence of the Great Empire sprinkled throughout town, understanding what took place in Athens helps to make sense of our country's own historical background.

Imagine spending six weeks with 15-20 other college students, mixing it up with Greek university students on campus and in coffee shops at the foot of the Acropolis. You will build relationships with students you meet throughout the summer while at the same time looking for opportunities to share Christ with them. There are also opportunities to partner with compassion ministries to Muslim refusees in the city.
