Inner City: Los Angeles - Restorative Justice

Our mission is to serve alongside our ministry partners  as they build spiritual movement in their church. Our partners have a wealth of experience and are invested in coming alongside people struggling with addictions, homelessness, gang involvement and other s obstacles to work toward restoration. “You will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.” Isaiah 58:12

Your Role: You’ll see how you can play a vital role in the body of Christ in these dynamic communities. You will get hands-on experience working with ministry partners in the city to outreach toward the marginalized and neglected. Your responsibilities will range from  running summer camps with kids, to leading Bible studies, to supporting community development, to cleaning projects.

After five days of training and orientation, you will be paired up with another student to live with a leader from  of our partner churches. You will learn from our church partner throughout the summer and serve under their leadership to work towards justice in a broken world. This will require a student with a high level of responsibility and self-initiative.
