Lake Tahoe

Come spend the summer in the Sierra Nevada. Together we will encounter the Lord, expose the Lake Tahoe area and tourists from around the world to the Gospel, experience Christ-centered community, and expand our vision for the campus and the world.

Our motto is, "What happens at Tahoe doesn't stay in Tahoe!" The summer mission in Tahoe is about reaching campuses back home. You will grow and develop in your walk with God and learn to be an influence to those back on campus.

The 2018 Lake Tahoe Summer Project is open to both quarter and semester school students. The projected cost of the mission is $3200 - $3500 which includes breakfast and dinner five days per week.

The class of Tahoe 2018 will be comprised of approximately 100 students from around the country, as well as up to 20 student staff/interns, and 30 full time staff predominantly from the Greater Northwest. We also have a partnership with Lifelines, the outdoor ministry of Cru. They bring some incredible character development and adventure trips around Tahoe.

Project housing is located just west of the city of South Lake Tahoe, CA (elevation 6260') within a short walk of the shores of Lake Tahoe. All students are required to have a full-time job during project (30+ hours a week). Due to long-standing relations with South Lake Tahoe businesses, most students are hired within the first week or so of project and many before they even arrive. What a great opportunity this summer is to trust God with big things!
